Over Their Lives Prayer Mobile Application
Last updated: 5 October 2026
The Over Their Lives Prayer app helps a parent pray over their children intentionally, consistently, and holistically. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who else can see it, and how to get it back or get rid of it.
In short
- We collect what you give us to make the app work: your account, your children's names and birthdays, the prayers you write, and a record of what you prayed.
- We do not sell your information, we do not show advertising, and we do not track you. There is no analytics SDK and no advertising network in this app.
- Nothing you write is sent to an AI model, by us or by anyone else.
- Everything personal is private to your account. Nothing you or your children enter is visible to other users.
- You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app at any time.
This is a summary. The full policy follows below.
Who we are
Over Their Lives is published by BLV Enterprises LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("we", "us").

What we collect
Your account
To create an account we need an email address and a name. We also store the settings you choose: your relationship to the children you pray for (for example "Father"), the name you give your prayer room, whether you prefer prayers step by step or flowing, your daily reminder time, and your chosen text size.
Your children
So the app can pray over a child by name, you give us, for each child: a name, a date of birth, and a gender. The date of birth is used to choose prayers written for that child's age, and to know when their birthday is.
We say more about children's information below.
What you write
- Prayers you write in the Journal, including anything you record about how a prayer was answered.
- Notes you add at the end of a prayer session.
- The names of people you add to your circle, so you can invite them to pray alongside you. We ask only for a name. We do not ask for, collect, or upload your contacts.
What you pray
Each time you pray, we record which prayer it was, which child it was for, when it started, how long it lasted, and whether you finished. We use this to show you where you are in a plan, what you have already prayed and what you missed. We also store the prayers you keep with a star, and the plans you begin.
Your device
We store nothing about your device. The daily reminder is scheduled on your phone itself — the app asks your phone to raise a notification at a time you choose. No reminder is sent from our servers, and we do not hold a device or push token for you.
If you write to us
If you email us, we keep the message and our reply so we can help you and so we have a record of what was asked.
What we do not collect
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers. There is no ad network in this app and we do not sell or share your information with one.
- No analytics or tracking SDK. We do not measure you across other apps or sites.
- No location. The app never asks for it and never receives it.
- No contacts. We never ask for your address book.
- No microphone, camera, photos or files, beyond saving an image of your Ox Pledge to your own photo library if you ask for it, which happens on your phone.
- No social login that reports back to a social network about your use of the app.
Artificial intelligence
We do not use artificial intelligence on anything you write. Nothing you type into a prayer, a journal entry or a note is sent to an AI model, by us or by anyone else. We do not use your writing to train anything, and there is no AI feature in the app that reads it.
The prayers the app offers you were written and reviewed by people before the app shipped. They are fixed text, chosen for your child's age and the theme you picked — not generated for you, and not shaped by what you have written.
Why we use it
| What we do | Why we are allowed to |
|---|---|
| Run your account and show you your own content | To perform our agreement with you |
| Pray over a child by name and at the right age | To perform our agreement with you |
| Remind you at the time you asked | Your consent, which you can withdraw in Settings |
| Keep the app working, secure and free of faults | Our legitimate interest in a service that works |
| Answer you when you write to us | Our legitimate interest in supporting the people who use this |
We do not make any decision about you by automated means that has a legal or similarly significant effect, and we do not profile you for advertising.
About religious belief
Using an app to pray may say something about your beliefs, and in some countries that is treated as a special category of personal information. We do not ask you to tell us your religion and we do not infer or record one. To the extent that your use of the app implies a belief, we process that only to provide the app to you, on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you create an account. You can withdraw it by deleting your account.
Who else can see it
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with the companies that run parts of the service for us, and only as far as they need:
| Who | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase (Supabase, Inc.) | Hosts the database and handles sign-in. Your account, children, prayers and history are stored here. | United States (Oregon) |
| Expo (650 Industries, Inc.) | Builds and delivers the app and its updates. | United States |
| Apple and Google | Distribute the app through their stores. Their own privacy policies cover what they collect when you download it. | Varies |
| Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) | Receives a report when the app crashes, so we can fix it. Crash reports may include which screen you were on; they are not used to identify you. | United States |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, if we must defend a legal claim, or if the company is ever sold or merged — in which case the information would move with it, and this policy would continue to apply until you were told otherwise.
Children's information
This app is for parents and other adults. It is not directed at children and children do not have accounts.
A child's name, birthday and gender are given to us by their parent or guardian, and are used only to choose and personalise the prayers that parent prays. A child cannot sign in, cannot be contacted through the app, and is never shown to anyone but the adult whose account holds them. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child.
By adding a child, you confirm you are their parent or guardian, or otherwise entitled to provide their information.
You can edit or remove a child at any time in Settings, and deleting your account deletes everything about every child on it.
If you believe a child's information has reached us some other way, write to privacy@overtheirlives.com and we will remove it.
How long we keep it
We keep what is on your account for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account we delete it — see below.
Deleting your account
Settings → Account → Delete my account. It asks you to confirm, and then it is done: your account, your children, everything you wrote, your history, your kept prayers and your plans are removed. It cannot be undone and we cannot restore it for you.
A copy may remain in our encrypted backups for up to 7 days before those expire. We do not use backups for anything but recovery.
If you would rather stop the reminders and keep your prayers, turn the daily reminder off instead.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of what we hold about you
- correct anything wrong
- delete it
- stop or limit what we do with it
- withdraw consent you have given
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to portability, and to complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU, your national authority.
We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
Most of it you can do yourself in Settings, which is faster than asking us. For anything else, write to privacy@overtheirlives.com. We will answer within 30 days, and we may need to check you are who you say you are before we act.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA/CPRA define those terms, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not knowingly sell the personal information of anyone under 16.
Keeping it safe
Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to the database is restricted so that your account can only ever read and write its own rows — one account cannot reach another's children, prayers or history. Administrative access is limited to people who need it and protected by two-factor authentication.
No service can promise perfect security. If a breach ever affects your information we will tell you, and any regulator we are required to tell, as quickly as we reasonably can.
We would tell you by email, at the address on your account, and by a notice inside the app and on this page. Keeping a working email address on your account is what lets us reach you, so it is worth keeping it current.
Where your information is
We are in the United States and our systems are in the United States. If you use the app from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection law may differ from your own. Where that transfer is from the UK or the EEA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with our providers.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, if we begin collecting something materially different or using it in a materially different way, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
