Delete your Over Their Lives account

Delete it in the app

This is the fastest way.

1. Open Over Their Lives and tap your picture or initial at the top of Home to open Settings.
2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete my account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.

If you signed in with Apple, you'll be asked to confirm with Apple once more. It happens straight away and can't be undone.

If you no longer have the app

Email privacy@overtheirlives.com from the email address you used for your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm the request is yours by replying to that address, then delete the account within 30 days and let you know when it's done.

If you signed in with Apple using "Hide my email", tell us that in your message, and we'll help you confirm it's your account.

What gets deleted

• Your account, your name and your email address
• Your children's names, gender and birth years
• Every prayer you wrote, your journal, and what you marked as answered
• Your prayer history, kept prayers, plans and settings
• Your consent records
• Your circle: invitations you sent end, and circles you joined are left. If someone in your circle prayed for your children, the record of their praying goes too.

What we keep, and for how long

• Encrypted backups may hold a copy for up to 7 days before they expire. We only use backups to recover from a technical failure.
• If you emailed us, we keep that correspondence for up to 2 years.

Just want fewer reminders?

You can turn the daily reminder off in Settings → Daily reminder and keep everything else.
